Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host San Jose Bulldogs (San Jose, CA), 69-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Gilroy upgrades its record to 14-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to St. Francis (Watsonville, CA) to play the Sharks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 8. The Sharks come into the bout with a record of 5-13.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Gunderson Grizzlies (San Jose, CA) in a Blossom Valley - West Valley bout, on Thursday, February 9. San Jose will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a 3-14 record after their 35-30 league win over James Lick (San Jose, CA).
