Maine High School Basketball - Gorham can't hold off South Portland

The South Portland Red Riots basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Gorham Rams to 51 in the Red Riots league triumph on Tuesday.
The Red Riots now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Portland for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 9. South Portland will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 46-45 league win over Deering (Portland, ME). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-13.
The Rams (8-7) will now prepare for their match against Noble (Berwick, ME). The Knights enter the AA South match with a 0-19 record. In their last match, Noble was nipped by Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME), 61-31, in a non-league match.
