In Tuesday's league outing, the Holland Dutchmen (Holland, NY) basketball squad beat the host Griffith Institute Griffins (Springville, NY), by a margin of 55-40.

The Dutchmen (12-5) will now prepare for their outing against Tonawanda (Tonawanda, NY). The Warriors go into the Section 6 Erie County IV outing with a 2-14 record. In their last outing, Tonawanda toppled Cleveland Hill (Cheektowaga, NY), 29-28, in a league bout.

Next up, the Griffins play the Cleveland Hill Golden Eagles (Cheektowaga, NY) in a Section 6 Erie County IV bout, on Friday, February 10. Griffith Institute will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the bout with a 1-13 record after their 29-28 league loss to Tonawanda (Tonawanda, NY).
