North Carolina High School Basketball - Nantahala ripped by Hiwassee Dam

The Hiwassee Dam Eagles basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Nantahala Hawks to 33 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 12-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blue Ridge Early College for a 1A Conference 43 - Little contest on Thursday, February 9. Hiwassee Dam will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 51-31 league loss to Highlands (Highlands, NC). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-14.
The Hawks (0-15) will now prepare for their contest against Highlands (Highlands, NC). The Highlanders enter the 1A Conference 43 - Little contest with a 15-6 record. In their last contest, Highlands triumphed over Blue Ridge Early College (Cashiers, NC), 51-31, in a league contest.
