The Jefferson Eagles (Jefferson, WI) basketball nipped the visiting Turner Trojans (Beloit, WI), 31-29 in Tuesday's league test.

The Eagles (8-13) will now prepare for their test against Edgerton (Edgerton, WI). The Crimson Tide go into the Rock Valley test with a 15-5 record. In their last test, Edgerton got by Whitewater (Whitewater, WI), 66-40, in a league test.

The Trojans now own a 6-14 record. They play next when they travel to McFarland for a Rock Valley test on Friday, February 10. Turner will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 88-50 league win over Clinton (Clinton, WI). The Spartans record now stands at 21-2.
