North Carolina High School Basketball - KIPP Pride ripped by Northwest Halifax

The Northwest Halifax Vikings basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting KIPP Pride Pride to 27 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren County for a 1A Conference 9 contest on Wednesday, February 8. Northwest Halifax will meet a Eagles team coming off a 51-30 league win over Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 6-11.

The Pride (0-15) will now prepare for their contest against North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC). The Warriors enter the 1A Conference 9 contest with a 8-13 record. In their last contest, North Edgecombe was routed by Northampton County (Gaston, NC), 56-23, in a league contest.
