South Carolina High School Basketball - Lancaster topples York

February 7, 2023: York, SC 29745

In Tuesday's league outing, the Lancaster Bruins (Lancaster, SC) basketball squad beat the host York Cougars (York, SC), by a margin of 43-31.

The Bruins (11-10) will now prepare for their outing against Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC). The Warriors go into the AAAA Region 3 outing with a 4-19 record. In their last outing, Indian Land was topped by Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC), 56-41, in a league outing.

The Cougars now own a 11-12 record. They play next when they travel to South Pointe for a AAAA Region 3 outing on Friday, February 10. York will clash with a Stallions squad coming off a 49-46 league win over Northwestern (Rock Hill, SC). The Stallions record now stands at 23-2.
