Rhode Island High School Basketball - Lincoln can't hold off Middletown

The Middletown Islanders basketball team scored 37 points and restricted the host Lincoln Lions to 36 in the Islanders league victory on Tuesday.
The Islanders now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Toll Gate for a Division 3 contest on Thursday, February 9. Middletown will battle a Titans team coming off a 52-45 league loss to Pilgrim (Warwick, RI). The Titans record now stands at 12-6.
The Lions (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against North Providence (North Providence, RI). The Cougars come into the Division 3 contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, North Providence edged Exeter-West Greenwich (West Greenwich, RI), 43-40, in a league contest.
