The Shiocton Chiefs basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Manawa Wolves to 42 in the Chiefs league triumph on Tuesday.
The Chiefs now sport a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Iola-Scandinavia for a Central Wisconsin - East contest on Thursday, February 9. Shiocton will meet a Thunderbirds team coming off a 34-32 league win over Amherst (Amherst, WI). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 14-4.
The Wolves (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against Bonduel (Bonduel, WI). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 17-4 record. In their last contest, Bonduel nudged Weyauwega-Fremont (Weyauwega, WI), 70-22, in a league contest.
