The Marlboro Central Dukes (Marlboro, NY) basketball nipped the visiting Red Hook Raiders (Red Hook, NY), 48-45 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Dukes (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Rondout Valley (Accord, NY). The Ganders go into the Section 9 Freelance test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, Rondout Valley was tipped by New Paltz (New Paltz, NY), 37-33, in a league test.
The Raiders now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they host New Paltz for a Section 9 MHAL I test on Friday, February 10. Red Hook will encounter a Huguenots squad coming off a 46-25 non-league loss to Onteora (Boiceville, NY). The Huguenots record now stands at 1-15.
