In Tuesday's league outing, the Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Sumner Tigers (East Sullivan, ME), by a count of 58-37.
The Lynx (11-4) will now prepare for their outing against George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME). The Eagles go into the C North outing with a 5-13 record. In their last outing, George Stevens Academy was crushed by Bucksport (Bucksport, ME), 44-36, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now hold a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Deer Isle-Stonington for a non-league outing on Wednesday, February 8. Sumner will clash with a Mariners squad coming off a 34-27 non-league loss to Narraguagus (Harrington, ME). The Mariners record now stands at 13-4.
