In Tuesday's league match, the host Rio Linda Knights basketball team scored a decisive 52-26 triumph over the Mesa Verde Mavericks.
In their next game, the Knights meet the Dixon Rams (Dixon, CA) in a Golden Empire League match, on Thursday, February 9. Rio Linda will attempt to better on its 13-12 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 14-11 record after their 64-11 league win over Mira Loma (Sacramento, CA).
