The Mohawk Mustangs (Marcola, OR) basketball nipped the visiting Triangle Lake Lakers (Blachly, OR), 35-31 in Tuesday's league test.
The Mustangs (9-12) will now prepare for their test against Eddyville (Eddyville, OR). The Eagles go into the 1A Mountain West test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, Eddyville was tipped by St. Paul (St. Paul, OR), 62-14, in a non-league test.
The Lakers now own a 6-6 record.
