With the victory, Northeastern Clinton improves its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Saranac (Saranac, NY) to confront the Chiefs in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a record of 17-1. Saranac won 54-28 in their recent league challenge against Peru (Peru, NY)

Next up, the Hornets confront the Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Plattsburgh will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Nighthawks come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 49-48 league win over Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY).
