California High School Basketball - Vista knocked off by Oceanside

February 7, 2023: Vista, CA 92084

The Oceanside Pirates basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Vista Panthers to 40 in the Pirates league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pirates now sport a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Carmel for a North County Coastal contest on Friday, February 10. Oceanside will meet a Sundevils team coming off a 74-65 league win over Ramona (Ramona, CA). The Sundevils record now stands at 19-8.

The Panthers (11-15) will now prepare for their contest against Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA). The Falcons enter the North County Coastal contest with a 21-7 record. In their last contest, Torrey Pines ran past Rancho Buena Vista (Vista, CA), 67-45, in a league contest.
