Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Patterson Lumberjacks (Patterson, LA) and the visiting St. James Wildcats (St. James, LA), witnessed Patterson's basketball squad nip St. James by a margin of 45-44.
The Wildcats now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Donaldsonville for a 3A District 8 test on Friday, February 10. St. James will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 51-44 league loss to E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-11.
