Georgia High School Basketball - Thomas County Central winner over Pelham

February 7, 2023: Thomasville, GA 31792

The Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets (Thomasville, GA) basketball felled the visiting Pelham Hornets (Pelham, GA), 56-44 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Yellow Jackets (14-6) will now prepare for their test against Northside (Warner Robins, GA). The Eagles go into the AAAAAA Region 1 test with a 2-20 record. In their last test, Northside was beaten by Perry (Perry, GA), 40-38, in a non-league test.

The Hornets now own a 13-5 record. They play next when they travel to Irwin County for a A D1 Region 1 test on Friday, February 10. Pelham will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 63-42 non-league win over Wilcox County (Rochelle, GA). The Indians record now stands at 2-19.
