Penobscot Valley Howlers (Howland, ME) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Schenck Wolverines (East Millinocket, ME), 58-19 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Penobscot Valley upgrades its record to 17-1 on the season. The Howlers host Piscataquis (Guilford, ME) to play the Pirates in a C North bout on Wednesday, February 8. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 5-10. Piscataquis lost 58-19 in their recent league bout against Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Stearns Minutemen (Millinocket, ME) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Schenck will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Minutemen go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 64-16 league loss to Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME).
