The Summers County Bobcats basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting PikeView Panthers to 36 in the Bobcats league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bobcats now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mercer Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 9. Summers County will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 64-26 league win over Victory Baptist Academy (Beaver, WV). The Cavaliers record now stands at 14-5.
The Panthers (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Nicholas County (Summersville, WV). The Grizzlies enter the Coalfield AA contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Nicholas County was outscored by George Washington (Charleston, WV), 82-38, in a non-league contest.
