In Tuesday's league outing, the Ruston Bearcats (Ruston, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Pineville Rebels (Pineville, LA), by a count of 56-22.
The Bearcats (12-8) will now prepare for their outing against Alexandria (Alexandria, LA). The Trojans go into the 5A District 2 outing with a 15-9 record. In their last outing, Alexandria smashed West Monroe (West Monroe, LA), 53-39, in a league outing.
The Rebels now hold a 6-17 record. They play next when they host West Ouachita for a 5A District 2 match on Friday, February 10.
