In Tuesday's league outing, the Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR) basketball squad beat the host Willamette Wolverines (Eugene, OR), by a count of 47-38.
The Irish (12-9) will now prepare for their outing against North Medford (Medford, OR). The Black Tornado go into the 6A Southwest outing with a 6-13 record. In their last outing, North Medford was topped by Grants Pass (Grants Pass, OR), 47-33, in a league outing.
The Wolverines now hold a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Roseburg for a 6A Southwest outing on Friday, February 10. Willamette will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 70-27 league loss to South Medford (Medford, OR). The Indians record now stands at 7-9.
