The South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Walled Lake Northern Knights (Commerce, MI), 55-44 in Tuesday's league test.
The Lions (12-4) will now prepare for their test against Hazel Park (Hazel Park, MI). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Hazel Park notched a victory over Eastpointe (Eastpointe, MI), 51-10, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Mott for a Lakes Valley test on Tuesday, February 14. Walled Lake Northern will encounter a Corsairs squad coming off a 26-25 league win over Kettering (Waterford, MI). The Corsairs record now stands at 3-12.
