Colorado High School Basketball - Stanton County trounces Springfield

The Stanton County Trojans (Johnson, KS) basketball crushed the host Springfield Longhorns (Springfield, CO), 54-31 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Trojans (14-4) will now prepare for their test against Wichita County (Leoti, KS). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 13-3 record.

The Longhorns now own a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Walsh for a 1A Arkansas Valley test on Friday, February 10. Springfield will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 74-21 non-league loss to Granada (Granada, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 0-15.
