Georgia High School Basketball - Toombs County nudges Windsor Forest

In Tuesday's league outing, the Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA) basketball squad edged the host Windsor Forest Knights (Savannah, GA), by a margin of 30-28.
The Bulldogs (5-19) will now prepare for their outing against Pierce County (Blackshear, GA). The Bears go into the AA Region 3 outing with a 11-12 record. In their last outing, Pierce County held off Appling County (Baxley, GA), 64-31, in a league outing.
The Knights now own a 7-16 record. They play next when they host Brantley County for a AA Region 3 outing on Friday, February 10. Windsor Forest will clash with a Herons squad coming off a 48-43 non-league loss to Charlton County (Folkston, GA). The Herons record now stands at 13-10.
