Westover Wolverines (Fayetteville, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC), 34-25 in a league bout.

With the victory, Westover upgrades its record to 6-13 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC) to play the Golden Bulls in a 3A/4A Conference 23 bout on Friday, February 10. The Golden Bulls come into the bout with a record of 19-1. E.E. Smith won 61-59 in their recent league bout against Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC)

Next up, the Eagles play the Terry Sanford Bulldogs (Fayetteville, NC) in a 3A/4A Conference 23 bout, on Friday, February 10. Western Harnett will attempt to upgrade on its 7-15 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 17-4 record after their 61-59 league loss to E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC).
