The Chico Panthers basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Foothill Cougars to 42 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pleasant Valley for a contest on Thursday, February 9. Chico will meet a Vikings team coming off a 40-32 league win over Shasta (Redding, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 20-3.
The Cougars (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA). The Spartans enter the contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Red Bluff was nudged by Chico (Chico, CA), 40-24, in a league contest.
