New Mexico High School Basketball - Cibola fells Volcano Vista

Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM), 39-31 in a non-league challenge.
With the victory, Cibola improves its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM) to play the Rams in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 16-2.
Next up, the Hawks play the Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) in a challenge, on Wednesday, February 15. Volcano Vista will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record.
