Utah High School Basketball - Jordan trounced by Lehi

The Lehi Pioneers routed the visiting Jordan Beetdiggers basketball team by a final score of 45-21 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Pioneers face the Mountain View Bruins (Orem, UT) in a game, on Friday, February 10. Lehi will attempt to move on its 12-2 season record. The Bruins enter the game with a 0-1 record after their 55-13 league loss to Lehi (Lehi, UT).
With the defeat, Jordan moves to 0-2 on the year.
First Quarter
The score at the end of the first quarter is 10 to 8 in favor of Jordan. Madi Andrew and Brytinn Simmons made three -pointers in the period.
Second Quarter
Lehi outscored Jordan 16 to 10 in the second quarter, Brynlee Cook, Brynlee Simmons, and Madi Andrew made three- point shots. The score going into the second half is Lehi 24 and Jordan 20. The last time these teams played each other, Lehi had an 18- point lead going in to the second half. To say that a few of us were surprised would be an understatement.
Third Quarter
Lehi increased the lead by just 6 points in the third quarter. The score going into the final period is Lehi 31 and Jordan 21.
Jordan made just one foul shot in the period.
Fourth Quarter
Jordan was held scoreless in the fourth quarter and ended up only scoring 1 point the whole second half. Grace Worsley led Lehi with 6 points and Lily Worthan made a three in the final period. The final score is 45 to 21 in favor of the Pioneers. The Lehi Sophomore girls remain undefeated in region play with just two games to go.
