With the victory, Alexander Central improves its record to 17-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Freedom (Morganton, NC) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 10. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 9-9. Freedom lost 46-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Watauga (Boone, NC)

Next up, the Panthers confront the South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Hibriten will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 30-7 non-league loss to Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC).
