Antioch Panthers (Antioch, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Freedom Falcons (Oakley, CA), 38-27 in a league bout.

With the victory, Antioch upgrades its record to 7-13 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA) to play the Pirates in a bout on Friday, February 10. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 5-14. Pittsburg lost 58-13 in their recent league bout against Heritage (Brentwood, CA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Deer Valley Wolverines (Antioch, CA) in a bout, on Thursday, February 9. Freedom will attempt to upgrade on its 12-11 season record. The Wolverines come into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 60-31 league loss to Liberty (Brentwood, CA).
