The Essex Trojans topped the visiting Westmoreland Eagles basketball team by a final score of 30-12 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 9. Essex will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record.
With the defeat, Westmoreland moves to 2-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Northumberland (Heathsville, VA) to face the Indians in a non-league game on Friday, February 10. The Indians enter the game with a record of 1-2.
