The Fort Chiswell Pioneers basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the host Giles Spartans to 38 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Pioneers now sport a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host George Wythe for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 9.

The Spartans (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Blue Devils come into the non-league contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Grayson County was nudged by George Wythe (Wytheville, VA), 43-17, in a non-league contest.
