Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Taos Tigers (Taos, NM), 26-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pojoaque Valley upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Elks/Elkettes host Moriarty (Moriarty, NM) to play the Pintos in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 16. The Pintos go into the bout with a record of 3-7.

Next up, the Tigers play the Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. Taos will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Pintos go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 53-41 non-league loss to Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM).
