The Riverheads Gladiators basketball team (Staunton, VA), was overwhelmed 47-5 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA)

The Green Hornets now possess a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harrisonburg for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 9. Wilson Memorial will confront a Blue Streaks team coming off a 37-17 non-league win over Staunton (Staunton, VA). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 14-5.

The Gladiators (2-14) will now prepare for their battle against Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA). The Little Giants come into the non-league battle with a 8-8 record. In their last battle, Waynesboro trounced Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA), 43-37, in a non-league battle.
