The Weld Central Rebels basketball team (Keenesburg, CO), was nudged 45-40 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Sterling Tigers (Sterling, CO)
The Tigers now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Resurrection Christian for a battle on Thursday, February 9. Sterling will battle a Cougars team coming off a 22-15 non-league win over Platte Valley (Kersey, CO). The Cougars record now stands at 3-2.
The Rebels (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Eaton (Eaton, CO). The Reds come into the non-league battle with a 8-4 record.
