Next, the Bruins confront the Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Bear River will attempt to better on its 7-11 season record. The Miners enter the challenge with a 2-16 record after their 5-0 league loss to Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA).

The Blazers now have a 3-15 record.
