With the victory, Smithson Valley moves its record to 12-0 on the year. The Rangers host Canyon (New Braunfels, TX) to battle the Cougars in a 5A Region 4 District 26 bout on Friday, February 10. The Cougars enter the bout with a record of 10-3. Canyon lost 2-1 in their recent league bout against Pieper (San Antonio, TX)

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX) in a 5A Region 4 District 26 bout, on Friday, February 10. Veterans Memorial will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Matadors enter the bout with a 1-9 record after their 1-0 league loss to Wagner (San Antonio, TX).
