The Newton-Conover Red Devils basketball team (Newton, NC), was nudged 43-41 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC)
The Bears now possess a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bandys for a non-league battle on Friday, February 10. Bunker Hill will battle a Trojans team coming off a 50-43 non-league loss to West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 14-6.
The Red Devils (7-13) will now prepare for their battle against Maiden (Maiden, NC). The Blue Devils come into the non-league battle with a 8-10 record. In their last battle, Maiden was nudged by Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC), 52-50, in a non-league battle.
