North Carolina High School Basketball - Mountain Island Charter nipped by Christ the King

The Christ the King Crusaders tipped the host Mountain Island Charter Raptor basketball team by a final score of 52-46 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Crusaders face the Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions (Concord, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 10. Christ the King will attempt to move on its 11-7 season record. The Stallions enter the game with a 18-7 record after their 72-30 non-league win over College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC).

With the defeat, Mountain Island Charter moves to 12-6 on the year. The Raptor travel to Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC) to face the Bears in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 8.
