In Tuesday's league outing, the Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles (Concord, CA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Las Lomas Knights (Walnut Creek, CA), by a margin of 53-50.

The Ugly Eagles (18-7) will now prepare for their outing against Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA). The Broncos go into the outing with a 6-8 record. In their last match, Northgate was nipped by Acalanes (Lafayette, CA), 60-51, in a league match.

With the defeat, Las Lomas moves to 13-13 on the year. The Knights host College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA) to meet the Falcons in a match on Thursday, February 9. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 7-18. College Park lost 67-39 in their recent league match against Campolindo (Moraga, CA)
