The Santa Teresa Desert Warriors basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Deming Wildcats to 30 in the Desert Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Desert Warriors now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Silver for a non-league contest on Friday, February 10. Santa Teresa will meet a Fighting Colts team coming off a 52-51 non-league loss to Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Fighting Colts record now stands at 2-4.

The Wildcats (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Lobos enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Chaparral triumphed over Silver (Silver City, NM), 52-51, in a non-league contest.
