The East Columbus Gators tipped the host South Columbus Stallions basketball team by a final score of 48-46 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Gators face the West Columbus Vikings (Cerro Gordo, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 10. East Columbus will attempt to move on its 4-14 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 0-13 record after their 68-45 non-league loss to Pender (Burgaw, NC).

With the defeat, South Columbus moves to 1-11 on the year. The Stallions host Whiteville (Whiteville, NC) to face the Wolfpack in a non-league game on Friday, February 10. The Wolfpack enter the game with a record of 13-5. Whiteville won 46-40 in their recent non-league game against Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC)
