The El Cajon Valley Braves basketball team (El Cajon, CA), was nudged 53-48 in Tuesday's league battle with the host El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA)
The Vaqueros now possess a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Steele Canyon for a battle on Friday, February 10. El Capitan will battle a Cougars team coming off a 57-42 league loss to Santana (Santee, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 13-8.
The Braves (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against West Hills (Santee, CA). The Wolf Pack come into the battle with a 13-13 record. In their last battle, West Hills edged Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA), 57-30, in a league battle.
