Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Stuart W. Cramer Storm (Belmont, NC), 62-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Kings Mountain upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to Cox Mill (Concord, NC) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 8. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 7-10. Cox Mill lost 42-33 in their recent non-league bout against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC)

Next up, the Storm play the Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. Stuart W. Cramer will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 82-62 non-league loss to Crest (Shelby, NC).
