In Tuesday's non-league outing, the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM), by a margin of 79-41.
The Bears (9-7) will now prepare for their outing against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors go into the non-league outing with a 9-7 record. In their last outing, Sandia was trounced by Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 58-53, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to West Mesa for a non-league outing on Friday, February 10.
