North Carolina High School Basketball - Mount Pleasant can't hold off Union Academy

The Mount Pleasant Tigers basketball team (Mt. Pleasant, NC), was nudged 38-34 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC)
The Cardinals now possess a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Stanly for a non-league battle on Friday, February 10. Union Academy will battle a Comets team coming off a 50-25 non-league loss to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Comets record now stands at 3-14.
The Tigers (12-9) will now prepare for their battle against Robinson (Concord, NC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 13-5 record. In their last battle, Robinson edged Albemarle (Albemarle, NC), 74-22, in a non-league battle.
