The North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC), 47-27 in Tuesday's league test.
The Greyhounds (17-4) will now prepare for their test against North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 4-13 record. In their last test, North Wilkes notched a victory over Forbush (East Bend, NC), 66-48, in a non-league test.
The Golden Eagles now own a 12-8 record. They play next when they travel to East Surry for a non-league test on Friday, February 10. Surry Central will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 62-44 non-league win over West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 16-1.
