Page Pirates (Greensboro, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC), 53-33 in a league bout.

With the victory, Page upgrades its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Grimsley (Greensboro, NC) to play the Whirlies in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Whirlies come into the bout with a record of 12-6. Grimsley won 62-58 in their recent non-league bout against Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC)

Next up, the Nighthawks play the Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. Northern Guilford will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 6-15 record after their 64-33 non-league win over Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
