West Las Vegas Dons (Las Vegas, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Raton Tigers (Raton, NM), 49-35 in a league bout.

With the win, West Las Vegas upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Dons host Santa Fe Prep (Santa Fe, NM) to clash with the Blue Griffins in a bout on Friday, February 10. The Blue Griffins go into the bout with a record of 2-10. Santa Fe Prep lost 44-36 in their recent non-league bout against East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Santa Fe Indian Braves (Santa Fe, NM) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 11. Raton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Braves go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 71-66 non-league win over Robertson (Las Vegas, NM).
