North Carolina High School Basketball - Southwestern Randolph nudges Uwharrie Charter

Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Uwharrie Charter Eagles (Asheboro, NC), 49-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southwestern Randolph upgrades its record to 12-12 on the season.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. Uwharrie Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record.
